Basic theory research on safety of urban underground engineering

The primary task of this program is to reveal the mechanism of safety accidents in the field of underground engineering. According to the analysis of multiple cases in urban underground engineering, it is expected that this program will lower the incidence of major safety accidents. Therefore, from the essence of stratum deformation and its interaction with the surrounding structures, the research team is scheduled to conduct the research on the following six aspects:From the perspective of local deformation and micro and macro structure of soil, a damage model about complicated strata is established to explore the failure mode of underground strata.Applying the principle of construction process mechanics, a dynamic mechanical model is established, whereby the research team simulates and forecasts the strata deformation pattern.A soil-structure interaction model is established as well, which is refined from a coupled stress field to evaluate security of structure. An evaluation system of stability of strata and structure should be founded to reveal the occurrence mechanism of different types of safety accidents.A degradation model of underground structure is put forward to analyze the instability mechanism and to determine related control indicators and standards.Utilizing the non-liner kinetics theory, the research team is to establish a safety control system of underground engineering to realize whole process control. Thus, through the integration of theory and application techniques, a control system platform, based on the geological conditions in Beijing and Shenzhen, is established.
